Janet Glasser, President
A Massachusetts native, Janet Glasser has been active in theatre since she was in Middle School. She has an undergraduate degree in Vocal Performance from Lawrence University in Wisconsin, and a masters in Conducting from East Carolina University in North Carolina. She has served as Music Director for many productions with actors ranging from age 5 to adult, and has most recently worked with Stage 284 in Hamilton, North Shore Players in Danvers, Theatre of Light in Beverly and North Shore Children’s Theatre in Salem. She teaches voice and piano from her home studio and is also the accompanist for Shore Country Day School in Beverly, as well as Sisters in Song, a vocal group that performs fundraisers for the Ellie Fund (support for breast cancer patients).
Aaron Swiniuch, Interim Artistic Director
Born and raised in Beverly, Aaron Swiniuch has had the opportunity to work with many theatre companies around the Greater Boston area. He is currently a special education teacher at Beverly Middle School, working with students with Autism Spectrum Disorders. Aaron holds an undergraduate degree in Performing Arts with a focus in Children’s Theatre, as well as a graduate degree in Integrated Elementary and Special Education from Wheelock College in Boston. He has worked in theatre from a young age, as an actor, singer, dancer, director, and stage manager. Aaron has been given the chance to play many roles such as Willard in Footloose, Shrek in Shrek The Musical, Audrey II in Little Shop of Horrors, and Potiphar in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.
Edward D. Lindem, Board Member
Besides being one of the founders and past Artistic Director of Entr'acte Theatre Company, he is an experienced theatre artist throughout Massachusetts. Born in central Massachusetts, he is currently in his third year studying Theatre Arts, and Business Administration at Gordon College. He has been working in the performing arts for over 15 years. Starting at a young age, Edward was classically trained in dance (tap, jazz, ballet, hip-hop), and studied instrumental music (saxophone / bassoon). Though a passionate performer, playing roles such as Willard in Footloose, Tiny Tom in Urinetown, and Lurch in The Addams Family; Edward loves to work behind the scenes. Some of his work includes: The Wedding Singer (lighting and sound designer), Into the Woods Jr. (production assistant), First Date (lighting designer), The Madwoman of Chaillot (ASL interpreter), and Fool for Love (costume designer). Throughout his career he has had the opportunity to work with many different age groups as a performer, director, and designer.
Allison Noel, Board Member
Originally an NYC Lower East Side native, Allison Noel is no stranger to the theatre scene. A creative by nature, she has been an actor, writer and teacher for most of her adult life. Her passion for caring for others manifests itself in running a Meals on Wheels program in NY for several years and her current work in being an advocate for children with special needs. Another fun fact is that Allison sang in a bar band in college! She currently makes her home in Beverly with her family and we are pleased to have her talents on our board!
Jennifer Boyum, Board Member
Jennifer has been involved in the world of music education for the past twenty two years. She earned her Bachelor and Master of Music from the University of Arizona and Northwestern University, respectively, and studied choral conducting with Dr. Steve Zielke, Dr. David DeVenney, Greg Hanson, and Dr. Robert Harris. Ensembles under her direction have performed across the United States and Europe, performing a variety of repertoire from Renaissance to contemporary music. She is currently the Upper School music teacher at Shore Country Day School in Beverly, MA where she conducts the Jazz Band, Marimba Ensemble, and five choral ensembles along with teaching music technology and general music coursework. Jennifer has multiple listings in the "Who's Who of American High School Teachers" and was nominated for the Clark County Educator of the Year Award. In addition to her work in the classroom, Jennifer has served on the Boston Symphony Educators Advisory Council and is an active member of the National Association for Music Education and American Choral Directors Association. Jennifer currently resides in Georgetown, MA with her husband Andrew and two children.
Eric Neagle, Treasurer
A New Hampshire native, Eric performed in his first musical with Entr'acte in their production of Shrek the Musical. Eric is excited to work and grow with Entr'acte.
